This year we have even more fabulous artists from Brass Bands to Contemporary Singers, Flamenco Dancing to Acrobatics.  In conjunction with the festival we are also holding an Art Exhibtion,  so it will be your last chance to see INSIDE THE HOUSE before it closes for the summer!!   Together with the amazing judges, help us find the winner and the  ’publics favourite.  There will be a chance to try some scuba diving with Costa Blanca Diving and of to sponsor our “Mascot Bear” to jump off the 4metre Diving Pool.  The full program of events will be posted soon, with the Festival Opening with a Parade of Horses and a horse display together with  music and dancing to the  wonderful rhythm of Flamenco.  If anyone would like a stall at the craft market, or would like to perform or sing at the Festival and showcase their talent, get in contact with me soon on 660816620 or email me on campolifewithjenni@gmail.com    Don’t miss out on the event of the year!!  Poster and leaflets to be printed soon and will be distributed around the region.  Also watch the local press for more details…. The Hunt is designed for the whole family to do together and is not only for the little ones… the older ones can get involved too!! There are clues along the way, treasure to find, and a few suprises too! They are very popular so please book in advance so you are not disapointed. On Easter Sunday we will be open in the afternoon only from 1pm – 4pm. Call Jenni on 660816620 to book your place. Attention all hobbyists & Crafters!! We are looking for quality artesan
Crafts for our Easter Event in April. You can either book a place or
alternatively if you do not have enough stock for your own stall we can sell
your goods at our HOME INDUSTRIES TABLE. on your behalf for a donation to
the EMAUS Orphage. We are also looking for donations of quality items
that you no longer have a use for (not 2nd hand clothes). So have a root

may drop off any donated items at the Tea Garden which is open daily between
11am – 4pm.

We have plenty for children of all ages: pony & quad rides, hay rades, games for the children including an obstacle course, egg decorating, coluring in competition, face painting & much, much more!! There are also some lovely stalls to look at and entertainment on the day so you can sit back and relax in the tea garden with a hot cross bun. The children from the Orpanage in Elche will also be here on the day to join in the fun. Spread the word and we hope to see you, fingers crossed for good weather.. Jenni

Alternatively, if you do not intend raising sponsorship, you can pay the entry fee of €5,00 on the day. The supported charities this year are Paul Cunningham Nurses and By Your Heart Benevolent Fund.

Start times for the Challenge are:

15 & 10K walks at 11:00
10 & 15k cycle at 11:30
5k walk at 14:00

If it rains heavily on the day it will be postponed to the following Sunday March 4th at the same time, however if drizzling slightly it may go ahead.

Taking place inside the house this event will include piano, singing, flute and guitar. We will finish with Christmas carols by candlelight!

The evening will start at 6.00pm and tickets are priced at just €6,00 per person with the option of a buffet meal for an additional €5,00 per person.

Went for a walk with friends recently and was amazed to discover so much interesting history about the area. It has also given me material for the articles I write for a local paper which, unbelievably, I am enjoying doing.

We met a little Spanish man taking his dog for a walk and he told us that the path we were walking on was the old road to Cartagena, the hole in the ground was an oven where they used to extract lime, the trenches were for the Naval Base and were used by the Americans in the Cold War Period… and so much more.

The views were also amazing so all in all a good day!
